Here at Campo we have a muse. She is actually more than a muse, she is a kind of raison-d’etre of this enterprise. Usually to be found driving her big white truck with the distinctive floral plume in the antenna at front, like a French artillery officer, Barbara is the soul of Campo. She is most at home in the garden, where she exerts as potent a force as any in nature on flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and trees. To walk through Barbara’s garden is to experience a very deep part of yourself that says, “Ah yes. I have been before. Thank you for bringing me here again. I have missed it.”
Today, we who work in the office and warehouse discovered this delight, as beautiful to smell as to behold. A jasmine, in a Campo San Remo urn.
