It took our colleague artisan, Rafael Hernandez, over a year to sculpt the original mold after Robin gave him the design – no small feat. A geometrical maze of some complexity, this planter has been universally embraced. We are very proud of this planter and it comes in five sizes.
Another of Robin’s botanical candlestick designs, this shape is derived from the campanula plant but is a variation thereof, and it creates a beautiful small candle holder that carries a natural theme. Holds a 1″ taper candle.
One of many bronze critters that we love to place in pots, on window sills, in water features and around the garden. To maintain the finish, we have applied butcher’s wax and buffed to a hard, low-lustre finish.
As did the Romans, Barbara and Robin grow tons of garlic at home, in order to never be without. Robin fashioned this cast iron hose guide having been inspired by this age honoured plant.
This original design came directly from our love of foraging for and eating spring fiddlehead ferns. And we thought that this would make an appealing and simple design for another garden hose guide.
This small aged turtle looks like the classic box turtle found here in the Berkshires. We like to see him anywhere in the garden – in a secret nook and crany, on a stone wall, or in between the plants.

Chiseled from the earth by hand. Shaped again by the same hand. Placed in yet other hands. Into the greenhouse to age gracefully. These lovely limestone planters come in round, oval, square and rectangular shapes.
We have now made this series of Mortero planters in aged terra cotta. We hope you will enjoy the natural texture of the aged and weather wood that inspired their creation.
Robin designed these two romantically inclined doves as a pair. Will they stay together? Will they mate and have children? Keep watch over them, they may multiply.
